I never have seen a Midpipe made by Megan to work with both OEM and aftermarket catbacks. It says it increases power due to the smoother mandrel bends. It says it improve the mid high rpm performance. Does anybody have experience with this product. I May get it if I can retain the OEM catback and gain performance. I didnt see it listed on meganracing.com so I wanted to ask here.
Isn't there a cat in the factory midpipe? This would mean that there would be 1 less cat correct? Is there an O2 sensor in the midpipe? and does the Megan one have accomodations for it if there is one? If there is an O2 used in that section of the exhaust, will this cause a "check engine" light?

If this gives actual gains and doesn't cause check engine lights or make more noise or vibration using the stock rear section, I'm down for one.

$455 for that!?!? That's ridiculous. You can make the same thing using Magnaflow products for half that and maybe even less.

Agreed! I'm very happy with my custom magnaflow setup and it cost me under $800. The best part is that I get to choose the look and the way it sounds can be changed easily.

I was talking about the statement on the ebay listing where is says the picture shown may not represent actual product..

The Megan mid pipe for an ISx50 looks like this..

It makes perfect sense that they are charging $455 for 3 pieces..

For another $500 bucks you can buy the remaining 3 rear pieces to get the full megan exhaust... but who really wants blue titanium tips on their Lexus.. ?

What 3 pieces? It's only the pipe in the middle with the resonator.
