you could try to use the US ecu... have fun trying to fool the drive-by wire stepping motor in the intake manifold.

v300,

what would be the best way to get Aristo engine / electrical parts?

also, you mentioned using the Aristo engine wire harness...

won't the RHD and LHD configurations be different when trying to connect the harness to the interior?

oh yeah, do you know if the ecu plugs / connectors are the same between the gs400 and gs300?
i was wondering this...

TerryTCL,

...you know I should start charging you a consultant's fee. LHD vs RHD harness is not an issue. Connecters similar between US GS300 and 400. Try getting an electronics wiring diagram through toyota product distribution.

v300 Im going with a 2jz-gte/6sp swap thats why i was asking. Im in the process of getting a wrecked/totaled supra tt so i will have all the wiring, diff, brakes, engine and tranny. And how much different is the oil pan have to be, could I lightly bash it in to make it fit or would i absolutly have to go with aristo oil pan?

if things work out well, there's always a kick back

i think i'm going to try out this 2jz conversion on my gs400...

a lot cheaper than a TT kit for the FE engine

SORRY TO BRING THIS THREAD BACK UP, but i was just wondering if he had finished the conversion, did he go with the 6-speed, or went with the manumatic e-shift thingamagig . the reason why im asking is cause im interested in doing a GTE swap in my SC but also wanted to keep the luxury of having an autotrans, but when i want to go fast I can just switch it to the manual part.

No, he did not complete the conversion (either the GTE or the 6-speed) and his car is now parted & sold.
