Absolutely incredible, your ability to take on such a mechanical feat in this amount of time is crazy! Opened up a lot of doors for many do it yourself-ers too! Props to you thumper and goodluck with the rest of it!

Wow, Amazing
Just a couple of thoughts. Are you worried that the modification to the clutch pedal, which now offsets the end of the pedal to the side, will introduce unacceptable amounts of rotational load on the pedal that may cause failure.
Also, what, in the end, did you decide to do about the shifter, and do you have a pic?
Once again, just WOW.

Ridiculous amount of time but well worth it. You can find LS motors fairly easy and so many mods its offensive to us F guys. Pretty sure with a decent amount of tune that thing will run mid 11's with ease. Great job, now what kind of badges you gonna run?

Wow, thanks for the compliment.
Honestly, I am not sure how much of the cluster will work. Everything on the interior runs off separate ECUs than the engine so I am not worried about it all powering up. What I am worried about is that the wiring diagram shows some wires from the engine ECU going into a "microprocessor" in the gauge cluster. Because of that I am not sure if the car uses traditional tach and speed signals.
I actually drove the car this weekend, I'll post the video shortly. As soon as I sort out some drivability issues I'll look closer at the gauge integration.

I went with the standard shifter from the f-body. Not the offset one from the GTO. It falls in the perfect location. I'll have more pics soon. I still have a lot of work to do on the interior so this thread is nowhere near complete.

I know what you mean with the mods. I open up a Jegs or a Summit catalog and there are entire sections just for the LS engines. You can even find performance parts at Advanced Auto Parts and Pep Boys in a pinch. It's a nice change from what I am used to.
I have been back and forth many times on the badging. Everything from IS570 to subtle LS1 badges where the F badges usually go have been brought to the table. You'll all find out as soon as I make a decision. I am always up for suggestions.
