Where in sfl are you? I usually try to hit up some of the PBIR events but it's too freakin hot out lately to do anything.

My patience finally paid off and I found an LSD from a 2013 BRZ for $300. Not sure when it's going on but it won't be long.

After about 6 months of just driving the car and not really taking great care of the outside, I decided to make a few aesthetic improvements. Today I polished out my headlights and painted my upper radiator support. I was considering installing my forward and side engine covers but I am pretty happy with the black paint so I think I'll probably be running without any engine covers.

And the finished product...

Your motor and compartment look beautiful. Nice job!! What do you think about a shock tower brace? Just an idea.

Thanks.

I'll document the LSD install but I don't think I'll be able to do as good of a job as these guys:

I expect that the install will be identical, except that I am not even switching out the gear set, I plan on using the new housing.

Thanks, I have had my eyes on a few upper and lower strut braces but they are all pretty low on my priority list. I really like all the products that JUN makes.

I'm with you except I measured the letters from a LX470 thinking I can just use the 7 and it's significantly taller than the letters on the IS250. I'll figure something out. Stay tuned.

Any thought to removing the model emblem and replace it with a simple Lexus "V8" emblem?

Hey Brett, Ive seen your multiple threads on here and the LS forums, as well as your youtube videos. Im am going to pursue this project, and would very much like your guidance, perhaps even your assistance with the motor/tranny mounts etc. I hope to hear back from you, this project is so amazing and I give you amazing credit for pursuing such an arduous task. Thanks in advance.
