1/3UZ and 2UZ use different motor mounts. Not that it's impossible, but some fabrication would be required if you don't buy someone's kit mount the 2UZ motor in the SC/LS/GS chassis. It's been done, i.e. 1.5UZ or 2.5UZ builds.

Yeah just throwing some ideas out.... I thought lextreme had a mount kit for the 4.7L block but I could be wrong, maybe one of the ones you were talking about. It's something I was actually thinking of looking into for myself I just don't know what kind of performance gains it would actually have.

yes lextreme has the 4.7 mounts and the short blocks you use the 400 heads with the 4.7 block e even has a stroker kit for all of them brings the 4.7 to a 5.2 look nice i have been drooling over this for years now...lol

to answer everyones question. my motor has over 340k on it when i attempted to perform a full tune up and screwed up the vvti gear by opening it up. long story short the motor took a dive.

i called every wrecker in my area and all they have is the 99 and up motor and everyone is telling me the motors are different. so i wanted to check it out for myself with guys that know their stuff here so i can try to figure something out. thanks.
