Installing F intake-Have any tips?

i did it ONLY using the instructions that come with it and i was pretty good. every time u take something off (bolts, clips, etc.) lay them down on the ground where they should go in the car, that goes for panels too. It makes cleaning up far easier.

F Intake installed. It was'nt bad at all. The DYI and tips from you all helped alot. I only had one problem. My windows did not work in "Auto" after I reconneted the Neg Battary terminal. I found the instructions in how to reset each window in the owners manuel and now working as advertised.

I will attempt to post pics in the near future.

^ roll down the window half way and roll it back up.. then the "auto" switch will work.

Did my Intake this week. Never even disconnected the battery. Problem now is I keep steppin on the gas just to hear the.....WAAAAW!!!!!

just did mine and did not disconnect the battery. Is there an advantage to disconnect the battery?

^ You reset your engine ECU so it can get used to the intake.

But it does that anyway.

The ECU is always learning.

Resetting it doesn't accomplish anything except losing some current vehicle settings.
