our OEM intake with the snorkel is already a ram air intake which is pretty much a cold air intake. anything that you try to make is gonna be a push.

Does drilling the hole into the intake behind the headlight cause any water that could potentially go into the intake? or will the filter catch that water? I know the plastics and everything should prevent a lot but still

From my experience, there has been no water intrusion on the filter of the intake system as a result of the hole being in front of the lower intake box. It's a safe mod to do.
