You might have the rubber around the intake backwards. Trying fiiting it on the other side of the rubber. You might have to use some force. Hope that helps.

it should not be that hard. just play with it for a while. what i did first was install the filter box first and then the tube. i found it easier that way.

the tube doesn't go into the filter box, it goes over it..and that was the last step i did..after connecting to throttle body and the whole setup is finished, then connect the intake pipe to the air box/filter with the rubber collar, this does take some pushing to get it lined up perfectly, then tighten. (rubber tube goes OVER.)

I installed my F-Sport intake last night.
Couldn't tell you if there was any power increase but the throttle responce is definitely improved. It actually feels like the transmission is shifting a bit harder under heavy throttle input.
The verdict is that the car is more fun to drive.
And it sounds wonderful with the HKS Hi Power exhaust (silencers removed).

It's a good thing too, 'cause all they provided with my kit was the air cleaner instructions!
It's a pain in the butt to put those air box clips on AFTER you have bolted it into the fenderwell!

I had trouble putting the clip back on the intake box. I still have one loose right now.
