Question tc install question??

Hi All,
Since I live in NJ and there is absolutally no dealer that would touch aftermarket stuff, I am going to a transmission shop to get my TC installed. They had a complex question for me that I had no idea how to answer.
Since they am changing the rpm logic for engagement and throttle position, do they need to do any programming to the controller or is there a new chip that is needed?

Thanks again guys, for all the help!!

Stephen,

There is no new chip or any type of reprograming that is need when changing torque converters. Do you already have the TC? If so, what make?

I know that it's a transmission shop, but you might be better off letting SRT handle the installation so that you know you won't have any problems. You should ask them how many GS TC installs they have compelted.

Just make sure you feel comfortable whoever does the work for you.
