PPE IS350 Headers
I'm going to an event on March 15 here in Texas where they are having 4 dyno's running all day free of charge. I've got I/H/E with about 2k miles on the headers and about 5 or 6 on the I/E. I'll post up the dyno when I get it done.
Hi everyone!
Sorry for reviving this thread... I just wanted the Club Lexus community to give me their feedback about the PPE headers... I'm not looking for too loud. My exhaust is not very loud, and I will be installing the JoeZ intake which is the least loud. Now if I additionally put in the PPE headers only, will it become as loud as this video clip?(below)
Because I would not want that...
I want to keep a strong(low pitch) and subtle sound but not too loud or exaggerated. That's just my taste

post a video / sound clip?
Although I have a IS-F I thought I would chime in. I just had PPE install a set of headers on my F. I was running a full Borla Exhaust with stock manifolds. Now that I am now running the headers with test pipes it is louder but sounds amazing at WOT not to mention an additional 40 hp is nice. Adding the HFCs will tone it down a tad.
As a side note the Guys at PPE are amazing and are true car enthusiasts. They are, professional, courteous and design and sell high quality products. I highly recommend them.

what kind of cats did you get it? where di you order from? it didnt mess with your wiring or anything? i dont want any dash lights coming on lol
I had test pipes and HFCs with v band flanges fabricated. I can run either the test pipes or cats. I purchased the High flow cats from PPE. They are the same ones you would get for your 350. They are Magna Flow 200 cell 4" metal core cats. I have not put them on yet but (still wanting to experience the full effect of the headers), there are many members here that use the HFCs that PPE carries and have not had any issues. You will loose a few ponies but loose the gas smell. As for the CEL lights. The headers come with O2 modules so you will not have to worry about CELs. Paul at PPE is a great guy and if you shoot him an email (just email the address on his website) with your questions he should be able to address any concerns or questions you have.
