You can kill two birds with one stone and do a SRT intake instead of an aftermarket intake/safc combo. Between the SRT intake and the exhaust you should see around 20hp.

is that really ? SRT intake + exhaust is 20hp more ??
You will get about 15-20 crank hp with the SRT intake and another 5-7 crank hp with an exhaust. figure on the low side and 20 crank hp will give you an increase of about 16whp which is a nice little boost.
You would be best off just saving up for a good exhaust. They are made of better materials, fit better, sound better and hold their resale value. Check the classifieds for a good condition used exhaust like Tanabe, Borla, L-Tuned etc....

and it doesn't cause CEL on ? any improvement on mpg though ? any power gain ?
The name should tell you everything you need to know. Sooner or later a check engine light is going to turn up, most likely when the weather gets cooler and the air is more oxygen dense. The fact the guy got the intake for $20 shipped should tell you something, just do a search for GS300 intakes and you will see thread after thread of people trying to skimp and buying a cheap intake only to cause problems with their car down the road. The history of cheap intakes speaks for itself, I don't know if I would go to someone for advice on "sooping" up my car who just bought a $7 intake and judges it's "amazing" performance based on it being louder than a Mustang.

Harsh, but correct. The 2JZ-GE has significant upside and can tolerate a lot of power increases but they should be done with quality. I personally, like macd is stating, would never...NEVER put a $7 intake on my car.
I agree. I have purchased a long time ago mufflers and intake from ebay and it was complete ****! exactly right about the CEL it came on and I had to rip the whole thing out and put my stock box back on. The mufflers is a whole nother story! the Welds from the hangers ATE through the actual canisters and I have 2 big *** holes on each side of the mufflers. EBAY is BAAAAAAAAD for the our cars unless your buying brand name. but you will still be able to find cheaper through other websites.

You don't know what your talking about if you feel better spending a thousand dollars or what ever, for a intake that has a name brand on it your a id!@*. I made my own intake and have had it on my gs for 6 years with no problems not saying going name brand is bad, but don't hate on ppl who go a different way. All a intake does is send more air in the intake without the restrictions of the oem box and filter period.
