yea even the description doesn't sound like the right mid-pipe for the IS. The diamater is 2.5 not 2.25.

ill research more a little later and rather than building a custom midpipe when this is figured out i will most likely just pull the trigger and order the midpipe in the next few days.

Try this place. I believe they are actual Megan Racing Distributors. I saw them on the list.

I sent them a message for you guys and they are working on it! 350-375$ is a great deal for these. I am selling my car so as much as I wanted them its too late for me. But I think these are a great idea for the IS IMO anyway!

Let me know if I can help

dam hopefully they get it done the M1 vendor. I think we should start a list of people who are interested in the midpipes GB from M1. This will tell Omar how many to order and the interest of the product. Dam now i gotta save more money for midpipes.

You shouldn't because the CEL would only go off if you mess with the primary cats, the midpipe only replaces the secondaries

That is correct. If you aren't replacing a section that has an O2 sensor, or an O2 sensor proceeding the section you are replacing. Then you have nothing to worry about.
In other words, You have nothing to worry about.
