Well as long as we free up the restrictions within the pipe that is more important than diameter. I mean these are small motors that don't produce that much velocity, not to mention it is divided between 2 pipes and if you have two 2 inch pipes that is similar to having 1 4 inch pipe. So I don't think they restrictions are some much in too small of a diameter as much as the daming up from the cats.

True! I wasnt even thinking of it like that
Then lets get this place on the phones tomorrow and work something out!
I'm going to have a shop remove my second cat and make me a test pipe to eliminate it. I guess for the sound gain because I doubt my 250 will gain much performance LOL

Please post some pics after you have this installed. If you can try to get a pic while the car is on the lift
I prefer not to use a vendor that has that kind of customer service. God forbid anyone had a problem. Hell they are hard enough getting a hold of to buy something, imagine if you had a problem you needed them to fix, LOL.

I hear ya...I just dont give up that easy I emailed them off the site. Maybe the ext they gave me is wrong?? will see....Like I mentioned I have been looking for them for sometime where they will break the set. I do not want the full exhaust. lets see if I can have some better news tomorrow for those interested!
does anybody know how much it will cost to get
a custom mid-pipe with resonator??
probably less then these mid pipes but you are going to have a hard time to find a shop to do them because of the legal issues of removing your cats and stuff....you are better to just get these pipes and call it a day

should not be too expensive b/c all you are doing is chopping a little piece of pipe and cat and replacing it with a little piece of pipe. i know a shop by me that will do it for around $100 maybe even less...that is if you are keeping the stock resonator, if you want a smaller resonator then you have to add the cost of the part, prob another $50.
my question is...on a lease is it going to be an issue when returning it if i do a custom mid pipe and then return it to stock before returning it? i ask this b/c there will obviously be a couple welds by the cats when it is returned to stock and dropped off at the dealer?...please no speculations i am interested in a definative answer not thoughts/feelings. Thanks!
So you have a shop in CA that will do this?? after reading how strict they are in your state I am shocked but yes it can be much less. I figure the mids will be around 350-375$ after I talk to them. This is what I plan to do and then when I am done I will put the stock pipes back on the car!
is there anyone in the Los Angeles area with a custom or megan mid pipe? i am leaning towards doing the custom mod but would really like to hear the difference inside and out...
