unless I am wrong don't the mazzuri headers remove the front cats? so if you could use these mid pipes you would have NO cats on your car. I may be wrong. But if the headers mount to the OEM pipes then there is no reason you can not still use these mid pipes.
probably less then these mid pipes but you are going to have a hard time to find a shop to do them because of the legal issues of removing your cats and stuff....you are better to just get these pipes and call it a day
I rather get the Megan Midpipe if I can get them
but will be interested in doing a custom midpipe if I can't get it from Megan
so please let me or let us know if we will be able to do a GB on this
midpipe~!
I'll like to add this to my Tanabe Exhaust..I think I'll sound sicker!!
Its part number is MidpipeLI06, it retails for $500, it is a direct bolt on and you should have no troubles bolting it directly to the OEM components.
They also said to try calling RMSUSA at 623-742-9494 as a purchase point instead of buying through them because obviously they have to charge retail. So we may be able to save $100 going through one of their distributors. I think this would be a good item to set up a group buy for. What do you all think.
after reading about this i just thought u guys should know about rms usa...found this on some Honda forums. http://www.rms-usa-fraud.com/
we should try and hit these pplz up.. i found they had the cheapest price 440..
Not sure how serious everyone is about the mid-pipes. but to those to want to install them and keep their axle-back exhaust unchanged due to noise issues. here is how it sounds like..

your welcome guys, i'm glad you liked it . I wish i had a before and after pic but unfortunatly i don't. As far as fitment goes they are very well. I purchased the whole exhaust through technotic (i live in canada limited availability here)..but didn't like all the extra drone from the megan axle back (really loud lol) So put the stock one back on.. not sure if it sounds any different compared to a regular IS.
You guys should be able to find some decent vendors in your area.. the states definatly has a lot more then canada lol.
between this link and otheres. when i have searched for the megan midpipe for the ISx50 the picture they show for both the scion tc and ISx50 are the exact same picturs for the midpipe, reguardless of what website you visit. obivouls its a generic picture for the midpipe... so is it a possibility that the tc and IS have the same sized midpipe? if so. the tc midpipe is 200bucks.
ill research more a little later and rather than building a custom midpipe when this is figured out i will most likely just pull the trigger and order the midpipe in the next few days.
