I have always been a big fan of test pipes and mid pipes because it is a discrete way to gain performance. I am not a big fan of loud exhausts, especially on a car that isn't a V8 or V10. Loud exhausts on inlines 4s and V6s sound like those teenage rice racer boys. Hell even back when I was in high school I couldn't stand those buzz buckets.

Adam see if you can reach them today? I never did get a call back. they said ext 200 when i called but that person was on the other line or something. Just want to see what the options are here as I think you and I may be the only ones interested??? either way I am still going to purchase them for my car.

I don't think they are open today. We are going to have to follow up on Tuesday.

Okay...Lets see what we can get then. Are you ready now? Looks like someone else may also be interested.

Everybody who is going to be interested in this PLEASE CHIME in. This way we can anticipate how many people we have and get a group buy going. These things are expensive if we can get special pricing.

As a side note, I wonder if this midpipe will improve mileage since the exhaust will breath a little better.

So what's the difference between this mid-pipe compared to keeping it stock and pulling the secondary cats?

this eliminates the whole mid section does it not? I believe its a race mid pipe so you have no cats unless I am looking at it wrong?

You pretty much have this done on your car already dont you caymandive? Yours being custom if I am recalling from your many posts?

I plan to give it a try here so I can post pics and info for those that have any questions. No I have not taken my car to the dyno. I do have the Tanabe on the car now so this will compliment what I have done. IMO should free it up, give it a nice growl, and add just a few more HP (yes only a few) I cant imagine that its going to be anything major. I would imagine that my MPG may also improve as SincityIS posted earlier in this thread. I have had this happen on another V6 car (NSX) where I had test pipes along with the full Comptech headers and exhaust. I like the sound it had along with the added performance. I dont think the IS will allow that gain but I am going in with little hopes....

Ok so this Megan mid-pipe replaces what? Here is a picture for reference. I assume it starts at the large resonator, but not sure where it ends?
