You shouldn't have to get LSD and headers to fully utilize the TC.

The TC makes the most difference of all mods, aside from force induction.

I can do burnouts easily, but smoking the tires from a launch without brake torquing is rather hard.
from a stop and with 20s, but the stocks smoke way longer, even through 2nd gear.

Im assuming the Lextreme TC is a good quality unit, but at the end of the day it is the same stock TC with higher stall speed,

personally i would have paid a lil more and ran the PI TC, because it's designed from scratch and 99% of all members swear that they'll do it all over again,

so it's either that your TC is not as good as PI, or there is something wrong with the unit or install,

cause u should feel your rpm's shooting up and car feels like it can free rev much better...harder, quicker, and smoking all tires without VSC should be so easily done.

also, do u feel the heat from under your feet? transmission part? cause i know i get that sometimes if i really really run the car hard in a 100degree day,

hope this helps, GL on finding the problem,
but i would suggest it's your lextreme TC that's the problem

Maybe its a defective unit. Someone else on here had a Lextreme unit and he said it made a huge impact on his car.

As far as the heat issue the TC does generate more heat but the cooler should take care of that. Maybe the cooler is connected wrong??

What does this mean...not balanced correctly? Is this an install error or a defect in the TC? I would like to know as well.

its a defect in the TC , its like a wheel its needs balancing, if not balanced correctly you would feel vibration on idle or certain rpms, i just ordered another dragon one.. i have to pay to install again around 500$ i ampissed off

...and let me guess, Precision Industries will not "help" with your additional labor expense of the new install? I think that's such BS because there is NO WAY of telling if you received a defective TC until you spend the $500-600 for installation...then you find out it's defective and un-install it, send it back get a new one and then pay another $500-600 for the new install; NOT COOL MAN! Sorry for your stupid ordeal...I feel for ya.
