Some people who have gotten that code attribute it to the throttle body.

Try this here...

I would need some additional infomation from you. What is the history of the vehicle? Any recent repair? Code P0505, Indicating there is a malfunction in your idle control system. The idle speed is controlled by the Electric Throttle Control System (ETCS). ETCS is composed of the throttle motor to operate the throttle valve, the magnetic clutch to connect the
throttle motor with the throttle valve, the throttle position sensor to detect the opening angle of the throttle valve, the accelerator pedal position sensor to detect the accelerator pedal position, the ECM to control the ETCS and the one valve type throttle body. The ECM controls the throttle motor to make the throttle valve opening angle properly for the target idle
speed.
At idle the RPM should be around 750rpm, If the vehicle idle more than the set values after warming up. A CEL will be ON, This is a two trips logic. For OBII vehicle, at idle the TPS should be around 13-14% and for OBD these values should be at 0%. If you have access to a Lexus/Toyota scanner. Go into Data list option, scroll down and look for CTP(Close Throttle Position). The CTP should be "ON" when vehicle is idling and your foot off the gas. I've seen dirty throttle body would cause this kind of problem in the past. Also, It wouldn't hurt to check the recorded information when the CEL triggered. You would want to look for: Engine running time(in seconds), TPS %, MPH, Engine Coolant temp and the CTP reading.

Cleaning the throttle body should fix this problem. I would use the carb clearner. Good luck.
