wow. that really happened because of not using a turbo timer???!!! i better double my time then... i thought the problem normally associated with not properly cooling down were seized turbos. could that be running too thin of a grade of oil?

not sure, lack of oil change/ improper cooling of oil i guess?

You shouldn't go around saying that happend from not using a turbo timer if you really don't know that's what happened.

So I finally had the time to install the turbo timer

I used the HKS TT-7 Harness with an apexi turbo timer.

It's plug and play. Cant lock the door with the remotes till after it shuts off though.

I'm getting a Viper 5900 alarm installed pretty soon. It has a turbo timer function built in as well as a 1mile range 2 way paging remote It costs about $500 installed at Tweeter.
