Please help me out on this turbo timer problem
First off, I just got done a few months ago with my project car. I have a '94 SC300 with a J-Spec 2JZ-GTE Engine and 6 Speed. From a 95 TT Supra...
I have the HKS Type-0 T.Timer. The shop that did the swap could not figure out how to get the turbo timer connected. They tried to wire it but they said it couldnt work.
The SC300 has a telegraphing steering wheel, I was told it was b/c of that(it can be disabled.) I just can't accept that answer you know? I am driving around with all my gauges operational, except for one of the most important. I am tired of sitting in my car for a min after each drive.
Can anyone give insight on this?

I'd have them re-check the wiring per the instructions.
If wiring doesn't work, you can get a separate wiring harness for the HKS turbo timers. The correct turbo timer harness for the 95 Supra would be part number 4103-RT004, TT4 (8-pin).

That was the original harness I purchased, I was told that a HKS universal harness wouldnt work either. The guys at my shop keep telling me its not the harness thats the problem its the telegraphing steering wheel. I dont understand. There hasto be a way. What about all the toyota soarer's boosting around in Japan they haveto have turbo timers!!! Ya know?
