Default Best Intake for IS350?

Im trying to decide between which intake to choose for the 350....Fujita, K&N, and Injen. Which one of these intakes will give me the most amount of horsepower and torque? Which one did you use and what are your opinions about it. I also heard a rumor that Injen is comming out with an intake just for an IS350 does anyone know if that is true or not?

All of those are SRIs, so they should all give the same amount of power.

yea.. all pretty much similar.. i have the Fujita and I can't really vouch for the other intakes as i got this for free, but the Fujita intake has a nice sound and look to it.. it does pull after 3k rpm.. not too shabby...

If you are asking us to pick then I go with Injen....Otherwise they are all the same IMO.

Does the Injen Intake come with a heat shield like the k&N does, does that make a difference?

Still waiting on this one. Since all the SRI's have the same gains, which one seems to sound the best =)

They all perform the same as one another, including the stock intake. Get an intake if you want to modify the look of your engine bay or the sound of your car. If your intent is to get more power, save your money for something that will actually give you power. Anyone who claims they "felt" an increase in power and acceleration is fooling themselves. The only real difference is the sound.

Don't quite agree with that, especially after seeing the dyno graphs of the Fujita intake. IMO, impressive for a SRI.

We must be looking at different Dyno's then. I've seen the dyno charts and actually got my car dynoed at Fujita. The only appreciable difference was at lower RPM range that you can't even accuratly measure becuase the car downshifts. There was no more than a 3hp difference in the measurable area of the dyno.

I agree...I think it makes a dif and dyno number prove it! Dont take my word try one and see if you like it...I have the F5 on the IS and had Akamoto and K&N on my Supras...All have been great!! Well worth the money.

I have been to K&N before and their facility is very immpressive and I do know that they do extensive dyno testing- with the hood down- which is important as that can change results-
