Isn't using a booster pump like putting a band aid on the real issue? It does make the injectors work harder and will shorten the life of them. But at the same time by using larger injectors the ecm will learn input from the maf sensor (a/f ratio) and actually lean out the fuel and make them pulse at a lower rate at idle, but what about wide open throttle? Doesn't the ecm have trouble learning the correct ratio ? What is the best route to go? I thought using 85% of an injector's capability is pushing the limit...Why can't anyone just get inside the ecm and crack it already???? (Please correct me if i am wrong, trying to learn this fuel stuff)

Because at idle, the maf will tell the ecm how much fuel to regulate( rich), but at wide open throttle it may have issues leaning out.( not 100% sure just putting in my input)

The problem with these vehicle is you can't run big injectors. We tried the 440c's and it would idle just fine. Stepping up to 550c's, you will have problem starting the vehicle. I'm aware that LMS has this deadhead fuel system and it worked for them. We tried the PCS unit on our customer car with 440'c injectors and it's working fine for us so far. One disadvantage on the deadhead fuel system: it will heat up the fuel and cause vapor lock. Why would we want to crack the Lexus ECU when you can go stand alone? But then we all know how much it cost to have a stand alone install $$$$$$$. I will get into more details later tonight about the deadhead system.
