If you are running 6 psi the booster pump isn't needed. Get a scanner and check out your Long term fuel trim. Make sure it doesn't go past 10% .

You don't need to when you are running the booster pump. What booster pump does is raising fuel pressure. Very similiar set up compare to PCS unit.

JPI,
I see what you mean. If he is using a booster pump no larger injectors needed but if he not running a booster pump and has stock injectors will the stock ECU and injectors handle 6psi??
How much can you raise the fuel pressure via a booster pump before it wears out or over works your injectors?? 40%?

trbopooh,
your talking about 2 systems. The S/C kit that Rod Millen sold they sold w/ 310 injectors to handle the fuel issue. The LMS S/C uses a booster pump to deal w/ the fuel issue I believe that is the one mikeyboy has.

I don't think we will have any issue at 6 psi at with stock injectors. We had to lean the 310'cc out quite a bit because it was funny very rich at top end. Otherwise the stock computer doesn't like that Long fuel trim going more than - + 10 %. That is the rule of thumb to tune these things.

I thought your comment about 310 injectors was refering to mikeyboy's GS300. I was talking about his GS3 needing a booster pump or not w/ stock set-up
Sorry for any confusion.

Sounds like mikeyboy has a booster pump w/ his set-up and is using LMS's I-manage to conrol it.

JPI,
I'm curious to know how much can you raise the fuel pressure via a booster pump before has any adverse affect on your injectors. Say for example ,if your stock injector are at 45psi would it be safe to safe to increase it by 50% to 67psi w/o over working the injectors??

Did you ever get your Lex running right? what was the problem?

I would take a look at the long fuel trim. We all have to remember, Fuel trim is very very important when tuning these thing. Are you running the SAFC?
