I'm interested, but not so much if the price tag is $5500. Another thing is anyway to fix the compression (sp) surge noise? It doesn't sound too good IMO.

^ I think you are hearing the S/C and not the BOV? No turbo here so I think this is the sound you are hearing.

Sounds normal. If you dont like the sound this is not for you as its all normal!

 

Once we have the list I will go to a few local places to see. I am certain I can get this done for much less

Not exactly. It sounds like compressor surge. It might be compressor surge, so I get what he is concerned about.

 

Not knowing exactly the intake routing on this car, but I had a similar experience in my old blown/intercooled mustang when spinning down. My solution was to add a 2nd bypass after the frontmount IC.

Basically what happened was when I added the IC, that added an additional 5-6' of intake routing. The single bypass couldn't handle releasing everything in a timely manner, hence caused some weird surge. Adding the 2nd bypass cleared up the actual surge. When I let off the bypasses opened and closed, in rapid succession and if you had heard it you woulda thought something was wrong.

Awww... the good old days. I still miss my 392rwhp/395rwtq! not sure what this story has to do with anything though. lol.
