No you have to use the orang plug that comes with the aristo motor. I think the GS300 on is gray, but I could be wrong.
Ben
Use it where/how? It has a jumper cap on it that connects all pins to each other. The gray plug from the GS300 you are reffering to is used for what? I didn't perform the swap on this car, I'm the one who's getting it to function properly. So, I don't have the history of the GS300 motor/harness coming out.

The picture that is posted is correct it has the orang plug with the orang jumper block on it. There has to be another problem with the car.
I will read back over everything and see if I have any ideas.
What year the car is and what year of car the motor came out of might help too.
It's strange how the GS300 ecu fires the engine right up, runs it rich, but runs and drives the car. I don't know which maf is in the car now. Could this be part of the problem? Is there a way to distiguish the MAF from GS/Aristo?
I'm usually an ace when it comes to trouble shooting, but this GS is getting the better of me. I really think the immobilizer is playing a role.

What kinda problems are you having?
Here's mine.
99 GS300. 2jz-gte VVTI with the JDM ECU.
Car starts and idles but a bit sluggish. When you hit the gas,it studders and dies. They are suspecting the MAF sensor. I'm using the stock GS300 maf.
I used the mas air flow sensor out of my GS300 because the front clip I purchased did not have a MAS with it. I cut the tube off the air box and put a filter on it. This caused the car to run rich, but it was perfacly driveable. I purchased a cheap e-bay intake and cut the part of the tube out that held the MAS sensor and use that now it is larger in diamiter and fixed the rich problem.
If the car is turning over, but not starting check all the basics, spark, injector pulse, fuel presure. See which one isn't there and trouble shoot from there.
** Update, Car is idling alot better now. But still shuts off when throttled. It's running extremely rich which I think is causing the car to shut off.
Currently i'm using the maf tube off my supercharger setup which was a 2.5" pipe.
Burton, what size intake are you using on yours? 3"? I'm probabaly gonna buy a cheap ebay intake and cut the maf tube out to see if it'll solve my problem.
