Im getting the ProLex Powerdyne super charger installed next week and it is recommended that I install an exhaust system to allow for the higher back pressure. I wanted to keep it stock because I didnt want the deal with cops following me around and kinda enjoyed the silence. But since I have to get one, what do you guys think is the quietest aftermarket system out there? I had the Blitz Nur Spec on my 98 GS4 that was ok, but still had the throaty hum. Any info much appreciated.
Well the stuff I have seems to be the most quiet and you can get them cheap, I got them $181 shipped from www.hotexchaut.com, Magnaflow's #14829. Everyone here was buying them at mass at one point (maybe the sale ended already). They are almost like stock but have some bite to them, very nice deep sound. Inside the car you hear them nicely and outside you can hear them from probably a 2 or 3 car radius, none of the Honda hear it a mile ago stuff.
Yup I got them.. They got quieter over time, and has more pick up than stock after they broke in. They are beautful polished stainless steel with "magnaflow performance exhaust" engraved on the tips.

I guess all of the stop light drag races I had(like the bimmers I killed) resulted in a good break in for the mufflers. It sounds like a cadillac cts v now.
I have the RMM exhaust, and love the sound. It is pretty quiet...just loud enough to know it's not stock. I'm not one for loud exhausts at all, and this one is fine to the ears..
Borla is a tad bit quieter than the L-tuned exhaust. I've had it for years, not obtrusive at all but when you get into it it definitely isn't stock sounding at WOT.
I agree with Dave on the Borla's. I loved them when I had them tho I had a gs3 so I'm sure it sounds a tad louder with the v8 but still its a very nice purr without being crazy loud yet when you stepped on it you really heard the nice deep sound. There is a sound clip somewhere of the borla on a v8..
