I had my local shop change the oil on my GS400.
I've got the RMM SC.
They told me they put in 7 quarts of Redline Oil.
Does having the SC increase the amount of oil that is needed?
I argued with them that 5.5 quarts was the Max amount.
If I am wrong I will be happy to admit it.
Thanks

the supercharger runs/cools itself by the oil line
If you look when you hook up the supercharger lines it draws the oil near the oil filter
and then drains back into the oil pan
instead of having to change the oil in the supercharger (like some models ) this runs off the cars oil
and this is why its s o important to change the oil every 2-3,000 miles

Thanks for the info. I'm changing every 3000 miles.
Do you think 2000 would be even better?
I don't know to much about the SC except that I love the power.
Is there any other maint I need to do on it.
It seems that I saw something about it getting power off the power steering.
If that is true do I need to change the power steering fluid.
Thanks again
