Nice to see the whip is up and running. Now you can start laying the smack down on some of these VW fools....

Well, I just read through all 22 pages of this thread. All I can say is Wow -- absolutely awesome. Im glad to hear you finally got the car together after all that you went through. I hope you decide to keep this beast, with all the time and money spent on something like this it dosent seem you'd be happy in the long run selling the car..

Definitely a serious inspiration (as well as an great source of information) for when I start my project Turbo Lexus...What an amazing car/project, congrats!

Andrew

Well, nothing's ever easy. Spent alot of time analyzing my datalogs. E-manage isn't reading injector pulse width and therefore isn't adding fuel. Sent it back to GReddy for R/R, if any problems arise after that i'll take it back down for awhile and start thinking about a standalone, which was the original plan.

J, could this have been part of the issue on the NA motor blowing? I know you mentioned a boost spike, but it was just a thought, (I'm sure you already thought it as well )

Sell that AC kit and get the AEM I love this thing!!!

Yeah Chris, our current theory is that the e-manage caused the old motor to go lean. AEM would be good, but the plug and play unit is not an option for me b/c of the vvt-i, i'd use the race unit if I went that route, otherwise probably Autronic or Haltech. I'll give the e-man one more try when it gets back from GReddy. Thanks for the support guys.

Heh, thanks but not my hedges...took a lil' road trip to Sag Harbour with my girl a week or two ago, stopped a couple times to take pics on the way back. She's in the whip flipping me the bird.
Zo, here's my pistons seeking daylight...
