Default Rebuilding my A340

it was only a matter of time.
About 5 months ago the stock auto transmission started to go. 3rd gear went then 1st gear. I was still able to drive it because of the E-shift.

After installing another stock one I ordered a performance rebuild kit from Import Performance Transmissions and sent the valve body to be modded.I also bought a service manual on CD to see what I was going to be facing.

I have been very busy so the box of parts and old trans sat in the garage for 3 months but today I found some time and started to tear down. The manual noted many specialty tool which is why I was going to have someone else do it but I wanted to give it a try myself first.

Im about half way done and everything seemed pretty straight forward so here are some pictures.

I have been thinking about doing this seeing how 1st gear is slipping, I just hope I can survive until spring. I will be keeping a close eye on this thread, good luck and keep us updated.
