Default Oil leak

I searched a little on here but couldn't find exactly the answer I was looking for. I found a small puddle of oil under the car tonight. Nothing too major, but it concerns me nonetheless. Can anyone tell me common locations for oil leaks on the 2JZ-GE's? I hope this isn't anything serious because I really can't afford it right now with the economy in its current state. I've lost a lot of money in the past 3 weeks.

I had the same thing when I first bought my car. My uncles works for Lexus and he said its a common thing in the SCs. I dont remember exactly what the problem, I think a gasket or something had to be replaced. It cost me about 250 to fix.

make sure its not the power steering because they tend to leak heavily on these cars if seals and hoses have not replaced, at least thats what mine did

Thanks for the quick responses. I was hoping this was gonna be something I could just do at home with some simple tools, but doesn't look like I'm gonna get off that easy.

look under the distributor for oil. there should be a small shield underneath where oil comes out of the distributor seal. Also look into the valve cover gaskets. those two were the problem with me

Also Check the PCV valve to see if it's still working as a clogged PCV can cause seals to pop all over the place. to test it remove it from the valve cover and run compressed air through the inlet side. It should flow freely. After that run compressed air through the outlet side. No air should come out form there. If there is a prob with either side replace it.

Mine is leaking under the engine and on the oil pan cover. Does this has to do with PCV valve?

My oil pan drain plug had no gasket and that caused a pretty good leak, who would of thought.

Check the simple things first. Make sure that the oil filter is snug. I've had "leak" that was cured by another 1/4 ~ 1/2 turn on the filter.

I just got back from finally fixing my oil leak. The problem was the valve cover gasket and I think the oil filter housing.
