I have never had to deal with a problem like this so how should i go about solving it? also about how much will it be to fix?i checked the dipstick and the oil mark was just above the second dot. help please

Kind of hard to tell you how much its going to cost to fix if we have no idea where the leak is coming from. It could be as simple as a cracked drain plug gasket or a big as a rear main seal leak or worse. There is no way to estimate a repair cost without knowing where the leak is coming from.

The oil may come from the car that parked there before you. You may need to call your friend to find out who was there before you. Please let us know.
