Default is there a seperate tranny ECU?

I'm pretty sure there's not, but I read a thread that said that pulling the dome light fuse will also clear the tranny settings, so i'm a little confused (about above said topic only)

pulling the dome light fuse will only reset your ...........

dome light.......

There may be a 'separate' ECU for the tranny, but that probably doesn't matter. I'm assuming you want to reset your ECU so you can 'teach' the car you want to drive differently than it currently is. If so follow this:

reset your ECU:

1) get the car to operating temperature
2) turn the car off and remove the 30AMP EFI fuse (engine bay, drivers side, 2 big screws)
3) wait 20 seconds
4) put it back in
5) run the trans through all gears while stationary. Leave the car in each gear about 5-10seconds (I read this here or planetsoarer.com, but can't find the post rt now)
6) find a nice stretch of road and hammer it about 3 - 5 times preferably from a stop (no need to go over the speed limit, just enough to let the ECU know you want to RUN!!)

I can say it made a difference on mine. It was noticeable (to me probably 1/10 - 2/10 to 60..just seat of pants).
