Unhappy

many people say to unplug the 20 amp fuse so it will "un-learn" your driving habits and maybe speed the car up.

does this work when you have the Swift Racing HFI / ECU??

I posted this question on Swifts forum and got no answer.

there is not reset on Swift ECU. Swift ECU modify the signal from the car sensor, so it adjusts the signal base on the car sensor, so you can't reset it

you can reset the car ECU by pulling the ECU fuse

i dont understand.

if I unplug the fuse will it re-set the driving style? or is the driving style "controlled" by the new Swift ECU which cannot be reset?

you driving style control by the car computer, Swift unit only modify the sensor signal to effective fool the car computer to increase or decrease the car mixture

of course you still can pull the fuse and reset the fatory computer, which might do some good

I don't believe that Swift ECU has any type of intelligent or memory build into it. the setting on it is fixed.

hope this help, the best way is just call Swift
or so some research on how the car electronic fuel control system on the car

Anh

Bobcat,
I believe what you are looking for is resetting the transmission computer. That is the unit that learns your driving style. I usuallly disconnect the battery for15-20 min. and all is well in the much desired "harder launch" department. Lex has put too much "AI" in the system for my tastes since it will re-learn my gentle side after a while.

KNKGS400:

The Toyota doesn't have the learning feature ... Speaking as a former Camry SE owner (although it was a 5 speed).
