Default look what i found on fleabay.....

i was browsing through fleabay and came upon this:
headers for sc400
i was wondering would these headers really give you the extra power.

Properly designed headers will give you more power - yes. Based on the pic - those are "shorties" or "short-tube" headers. Most prefer long-tube for various reasons. If one were to buy the ones listed and remain legal - you would have to figure out a way to add new cat's and relocate the O2 sensors. In a word - you would have to spend big bucks to make these work - is it worth it for say 15-20 more hp? Maybe for some.

Yes, this is somewhat correct. The shorty headers I helped design are WAY better than the horrible stock manifolds. While there is some additional gain with a PROPERLY designed long tube header I would argue that these shorties are going to perform nearly as well as LTs and be much easier to package. On the other hand the headers on ebay will probably give up torque compared to the S&S headers.
