Question sc400 Hurricane Headers?

anyone know anything about the sc400 / soarer 4.0 1uz Hurricane Headers? they look pretty nice, and for a fairly good price too. almost no info though. they look very similar to the rush headers, and the only long tubes anywhere on the market.

They are identical to Rush headers. Good long tube option.

A very good choice for headers. I would also contact Rush imports to see if he's still making them, maybe compare the price.

I have a feeling (considering Rush no longer makes theirs) that rush sold the jigs to this company and they are basically rush headers. So, i would say that they would yield the same power gains as the rush headers.
if you want a cheaper option look into OBX short tube headers, $350. I can't confirm on the quality though.

I'm sure the Hurricane headers are much better build quality than the OBX. But the OBX are also half the price. There is always PPE, IMF or S&S headers which would be better than OBX as well. I've never even heard any solid feedback on the OBX headers for the 1UZ yet. I would be nice to see a dyno chart.

The OBX ones have quality issues, have read a couple of threads filled with people saying they crack.

i would probly just go with the imfs if they still made em. would the hurricane headers have any clearance issues with the steering rack or column or anything else?

IMFs still pop up on the classifieds. I thought I read many threads saying the Rush headers were a bolt in part.
If the Hurricane headers are australia, that means i'd get raped on shipping, maybe we could do a group buy some time

I got PPE's, didnt do the install, nor did I pay for it (came with the car ) but being able to feel the power when paired with a full exhaust, I'd say the work/labour is worth it.
