Nice work JBrady...Knew you would come through. If I weren't forcing air through snails, I would have been all over these... Great price too...

Will these fit over the stock heat shields I read that the passenger side can and that the drivers side was questionable. When you install these can you very also if the heat shields will fit?

Cant wait to hear the results of the install. Will you be doing some dyno runs?

I think John Brady will handle the ordering details and communication with the fabricator when this set has verified fitment. I spoke with my shop guy and he gave me a book rate of 15hrs , but they won't have time for me until early next week. I'll keep everyone informed as much as I can.

Well, that was something I wanted to speak to John about, it doesn't have any mounting screws for me to attach the heat shields, so I'm thinking they're not going on ( atleast on mine). When the shop pulls the manifolds, I'll get a better picture of what will and will not fit.

Did some dyno runs yesterday for a baseline, I hoping for some improvement after the installation

JBrady, what is the estimated increased flow % over the stock headers?

Baseline was 230hp and 260ft/lb with a A/F of 11.5 in 99degree weather. I have some more untapped power there, just running pig rich right now. Engine mods are(some of which are negligible);

SRT intake w/ Race ECU - Kaj CAI box
Supra 3.76 gears w/ LSD
TM plugs
18" wheels - 275/30/18 rears

The gearing is throwing off the numbers as well as making the dyno runs a PITA, I think I also have an exhaust leak or clogged cat ( no codes) . Hopping to get that resolved at the same time as the header install. But it will do as a baseline for gains of the headers.

If you baselined with an exhaust leak or clogged cat and then get it fixed I have to assume the baseline would have been better so header results would be less of an increase than we may see between the two. Would have been nice to have a clean comparison but at least you tried.

At one time I was really interested in these but without GOOD comparison numbers showing some sort of gain, having to at a minimum move the engine partly out of the way for install, and did I read 15 hours to install...

This may be the worst "bang for your buck" mod for our cars yet... yet I hope the gains prove me wrong...

Yeah if it takes about 15 hours to install i might have to rethink this mod, i dont even wannaknow what a shop would charge for that.

Guys,

I got a quote of 7 labor hours for the installation from my certified Lexus mechanic. He said that is what the book says.

15??
