UPDATE AFTER SECOND SERVICE VISIT……. no luck on a long term solution. Spent the morning with the service tech and service manager. (also on the phone with Lexus corp.). Bottom line is there is no fix as of this time….. I did come away with a VERY short term solution…. If we (or you) get into the car and our profile does not load, press and hold the radio volume button for five seconds (restarts, maybe reboots). So far this has fixed the problem each time. Good luck.
This reboots the Infotainment, works on older Toyota/Lexus cars too. I've had to use that over the years a few times, works well.
Spoke to our dealer this morning, sounds like Lexus has acknowledged one or more issues with profile loading (not sure specifically what) and is working on fix(es). No eta, no details yet, but given the consistent issues being seen, I'm hopeful they are aware of the different flavors or problems. I'm planning on documenting (with photos/videos) what I've seen and turning those in.
About half of the time, that does not happen for me. I can eventually get on my profile, but CarPlay only connects half of the time. The dealer is trying to help fix this.
Does anyone open their NX, get into the driving seat, press the start button and the multimedia system recognises the phone Bluetooth, installs the correct user profile and starts Apple CarPlay?
Mine doesn’t. Am i expecting too much?

We get the message "Profile not loaded" when we get this message our phones will not show that they are connected. The seat or mirrors will not move to our saved locations and our saved radio stations will not show up.. Also, we cannot get the Lexus navigation to save our home, work or favorite locations..... Another issue is the "Wireless connection failed".
We've had the car back to the dealer once with no resolution. I have contacted Lexus corp.
Any suggestions?
I get the wireless connection failed often and the only way to connect it after I start the car is to either restart (sometimes several times) or (as I just learned from the dealer), push the volume button for 4 seconds and the multimedia system reboots and sometimes connects.

One thing seems to be helping is: when you get into the car, do not press Start button right away, instead, wait for a bit (like put on your seat belt first) and then press Start button.
