I was looking at the Draw tile one also but do think the Lexus one looks better. I only need for the bike rack also so no need for wiring. I search and found the Lexus hitch for $309 and they will ship it. I am now going to see if I buy it will another place install it or even look to see if I can install it. I don’t really care about the time it takes. Hope this helps.

 

I saw a few places with it online as well. Did you call to also make sure the part is in stock or did you already getg a shipping notice ? If so which site did your order form. I also would like the oem one for the look, Also im sure a local hitch shop can do the install and I personally don't care if the kick sensor stops working.

 

I’m also interested on the site that you purchased the hitch from. We just got a 23 NX450H+ that has the tow package just no hitch. Like you no plans to actually tow with it,just for using the bike rack. Thanks

 

Nice job Rejus. Do you know why Draw-Tite says that model #76201 does NOT fit on the F Sport? It seems to fit well on your F Sport!

Just had a hitch installed at UHaul on my 350hl. Took about 2 hrs; they installed the hitch and wiring harness (I have the tow pkg). No issues. It was ~$500 total. Talked to the installer and he said it was really easy and it can be taken off just as easy and you wouldn't know it was there.

After installation drove a 5 X 8 Trailer 850 miles. It was easily pulled and up and over the mountains but it does really affect the handling AND the gas mileage. Got 33-34 on the hwy before trailering and about 18-20 while towing. Oddly enough super gas seemed to produce worse mileage but that might just be the traffic.

 

I will install the hitch myself as it’s a very simple install and don’t want the hack job that one of the members encountered with the trimming of the lower valance. Navy subs link for the towing hitch is $386 so I’ll get it from them. Like most it will only be for hauling a Thule 4 bike flat rack.
I installed the one on our 13 Cayenne Diesel and it was pretty basic.

 

.....also waiting for my 350NXh Lux - expected Feb- early March. I didn't ask for the mount but will need something soon for our bikes. Anxious to hear about your activity mount install. I will be looking for some kind of hitch install pretty soon.

 

Team, looks like UHaul now has an alternate hitch option for installation. This one is made by Curt (Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2" Receiver, Select Lexus NX250, NX350, NX350h, NX450h+ (curtmfg.com)_ and based on the picture it looks like it can get around the exhaust hangers. Curious if anyone has installed this yet and whether or not it interferes with the hands-free trunk open sensor?

 

I would prefer one that is more hidden. I don't like the look of the exposed bar across the rear of the car. Curt had a nice one for my 2020 RX where only the receiver was exposed. I think hte Lexus receiver is like that as well.

Nicely done! I’m sure this will help a lot of people. I personally don’t have any intention to tow with the wife’s NX(we have the truck for that) but having the hitch for the bike rack is nice.

 

Who installed your "activity mount" how much to install, how much time did it take?

 

I have activity mount installed but I don't like it as it recesses from the bumper too much. I have a hard time finding a platform bike rack that fits.
