ATF Drain//Refill
Where is the ATF fill plug on these transmissions and what tool(s) do I need? It's for my sister's NX200t; she going to bring it to my house in a couple of weeks and I want to be prepared as much as possible. Didn't find a youtube DIY video for this model Lexus. I'm going to also replace the plugs but youtube videos show that to be straight forward.
Excellent. Thanks. Refill bolt appears to be in same location as for the ES350. Good to know about the ATF temp range. I'm going to measure how much comes out and replace same amount, but to know about the temp range if I mess it up. I presume it's the same temps for the RX350? Thanks again.

EDIT Oops you have the 8 speed RX350. Yes, that's definitely different.

Thanks for posting these. They are actually better than the ones for the U660 in the ES350.
Picked up a 2015 last week, performed the transmission fluid service this morning.
i was expecting a little more fluid to come out. Only got about 1.5 liters. Refilled with 1.75 liters, a little extra to ensure i have some to drain. I’ll keep doing this once a month until the fluid looks new.
if any one was thinking about doing it themselves, it was nearly as daunting as I thought it might have been.
only real special tool required is something to confirm you are between 104-113F to do drain the extra. I used an ELM327 paired to an android.
