After reading a few posts old and
new, I was wondering about installing an HKS type O turbo timer ( made for cars with push button start )

Anyone do this?

 

Being as its not necessary to idle the car for more than the time it takes to find a parking spot i doubt anyone has done that as its not economical from a cost for benefit perspective. I'm sure you can do it, but i wouldn't. You may have noticed that the nx300 now specifies no cool down time unless you were driving very aggressively or at high speed. The only time i wait a minute or two is if i am towing my camper and have been driving on the highway for some time. Also, i'm sure there is no harness and you will have to splice wiring, as soon as you splice wiring you are introducing new problems for the car and potential warranty work.
