Engine sound question.
Lol this is a very good point lol. Although, when test driving the comparable Grand Cherokee and Acura RDX, this NX was wayy faster. As far as how the NX compares to other vehicles in it's niche, I'm not sure what else you're used to but this thing is zippy lol. Granted it's nowhere NEAR my IS350 but for a little mini SUV it's peppy! Although I'd NEVER want to hear any more noise than necessary; I think this whole piping in of engine noise is rediculous, ESPECIALLY for the maker that made IT'S ENTIRE NOTCH IN AUTO HISTORY for the quietest and smoothest car around lol.
Pardon my ignorance but where would that control be located?
I have a '15 RC350 F Sport and a '12 Corvette Grand Sport. I just can't get use to NX's lack of "zippy" and "peppy" -ness. But it will have to do for now.
Oh I guess from my signature you already know that, sorry.

one of the reasons I like NX is its zippy and peppyness.
I have yet seen a car at red light get ahead of me.
Of course it helps to have the brake hold on, so that saves fraction of second.
All is relative i guess.

Thanks, I see that mine is off also. Since the steering wheel blocks most of the buttons on the lower panel I didn't even notice it.
IMHO you need to be realistic and manage expectations. A turbo 4cyl with 235hp in a compact SUV its not going to be a rocket. Your other two cars, a RC350 Fsport is a 2dr sports coupe with 3.5L 311hp V6 and 12' Corvette Grand Sport which which is a sports car with a 6.2L 430hp V8,what did you REALLY expect? The NX will never pull like those two cars, the lack of "zippy" and "peppyness" as you are referring to, to put it frankly, its quite obvious when your other cars both have more cylinders and way more HP and torque. Did you not know the specs before you bought the car? As you said its your first 4cyl, and for a 4cyl the NX200t is actually quite peppy and zippy, it not the fastest turbo 4 out there but its nowhere near the slowest. If the car doesn't meet your expectations, I say move to another car that does. But to stay on topic the ASC personally i find to be horrible and just sounds way to artificial, i leave mine off all the time.
