I tried it out tonight and it worked like a charm. I was able to unlock and lock the car, as well as remotely start it. I'm not sure when I'll have a real need to use it aside from locking my key in the car. But it's nice to know it's there if we need it.

 

You actually shouldn't be able to lock your keys in the car but if you set an alert to tell you when you've left the car unlocked you will get a text or email reminding you that your car is unlocked and you can run back and find your key

The only thing that is a bit annoying is that we leave our car unlocked in our garage and I had to turn off the notifications since I was getting a text every time my wife got home and turned off the car without locking doors for a while.

It's a nice little app for checking status and remote start though for sure.

 

You may find it a bit annoying at times because if you leave your car unlocked in the garage it will send you a text message to look at messages on your app., saying you left your car unlocked. Mine also sent an email.

 

anyone planning on paying for the Enform subscription after the free trial? I won't be.

 

I doubt it. The apps are pretty useless to be honest. I use Yelp and OpenTable all the time from my phone but trying to use it inside the app suite seems way more distracting and limited.

Enform Safety Connect is the basic subscription option at $140/year

Then you can get Enform Remote which includes Safety Connect at $220/year

Goes on up if you want the Enform Destinations (I think you can talk to someone who will then program remotely the destination into your NAV).

 

No plans to renew here either. Set up all your destinations early and it will be saved in your eDestination folder on the Enform website forever.

Now, if someone knows how to transfer it from vehicle to vehicle, that would be great.
