Things like adaptive cruse, pre-crash, panoramic cameras, seat cooling, electric back seats, hud, dont seem to be on US pics... maybe thats not on purpose. But maybe they know how much people want to pay for "loaded".

Personally, I am with you... i want to get minimal options with leather and hud... rest I dont care about. I have a feeling that base model will still look good.

I doubt the US will get the cameras, electric back seats.Maybe the other items with a special order.
Other than the LS,LX and GX ,no other models come in the Atlantic region dealers with ML and Adaptive cruise.Got to special order or buy out of state.

Base NX FWD $35K, AWD $37K. Nicely equipped low to mid $40K. Hybrid still brushes $50K
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car-...us-thread.html

So $45K may be doable loaded (HUD,Adaptive cruise)discounted a bit..

i believe the Rav4 comes standard with a back up cam.

plus all cars sold in the US must have one by 2018.

This is exactly my gut on pricing in the US. In Canada, we'll probably just get the AWD version (like with the RX) and my guess is $41K starting, which is the same starting price as the RDX.

had another chat with lexus today regarding the nx and here are more information for the US market

1) unfortunately, the US market will not be getting the HUD option, so there is no information / spec that they can share
2) similarly, the US market will not get the 360 camera system either
3) there are no final spec and information regarding memories yet, that's still TBD
4) AWD option will be available for ALL nx trim in the US, including nx200t, nx200t f sport, and nx300h
5) nx300h f sport will NOT be available in the US. but it will in other regions
6) the nxh will work similar to the rxh, with the MGR system driving the rear wheels
7) the overall infotainment system has no major updates except the new RTI. the system itself is the same as the new IS

hope this helps answer some questions in this thread. big thanks to lexus again for supporting us!!!

thanks so much for this info, awesome!

Now the pricing for US makes sense, if it ends up at $45k like Hoovey said.

If I am to buy it new, I certainly wouldnt load it up in Europe, as it will be already expensive, but maybe if I get 1-2 yr old model, i can get the extra equipment for cheapo.

you guys are welcome. just trying my best to get info for everyone, and honestly i think lexus wants the feedback too.

not sure if you guys read into my article but for the new RTI, i really like the force feedback, i think that's a good thing. i really wish the pad will allow handwriting recognition of some sort for address input, etc... but from my testing and what lexus told me, seems like that's not the case in this generation yet. a little letdown but going to touchpad is a first step imho

on memories, yes, memory seats. i didn't pay close attention on it (need to go through all my pics tonight again) and can't get finalized answer yet

i think lexus is very careful on the pricing. while there is no information on that, i think they realize what's out there and hopefully they would price this car right to kill the market

i like it overall, but some angle looks too 'cute'? is it just me? bit too cartoony? like a cute angry puppy. it's young and energetic.

overall, it's daring and bold for sure. can't wait till i see one in person.

no engine specs yet... i expect some more info on 21st though... hopefully. Otherwise, there is long 6 months before 2.0t is released (Either in RC or NX), so who knows when will we get it... they like to keep their cards closed.

I never brought a new Lexus before; just pre owned.

I have a question, if the base model is $35k. Will there be one on the lot for that price? The SO wants to know.

For example, my next door neighbor wanted a CT. The price on the website said $32k. So she went to the dealer and the salesman told her there is no such thing as a "$32k CT". The price on the website is for a strip model and Lexus doesn't make a strip CT. The lowest she will get a CT for is about $36k.

Thanks
