Question About Tinting Front Windshield
I am thinking of tinting my front windshield but I got some question about it?
- I know it is illegal to tint it, so how you get away with it when is due for "State Inspection"?
- Even if you do get away with it, how do you remove old "State Registration" and "State Inspection" stickers from the tinted windshield without damaging the tint?
Thank you all in advance!!!

assuming you tint your front windshield, you could get your tint guy to cut out a small square in the top corner (the size of the state registration and state inspection) to fit the stickers. that might look dorky, but it would be the only way i can think of that you can show the stickers.

Ones lives in Texas knows that the sun is brutal during the summer !!!
That is way I am interested in tinting the front windshield in order to block the HEAT, some SUNLIGHT, and specially UV PROTECTION !!!
Some helpful input would be grateful, thank you all !!!
Like you have stated it might look dorky, but my main concern is that it would be too obvious for the police to pull me over!!!

My previous vehicles windshield was tinted 35%. I personally had the guy cut out around the stickers so that I could replace them when necessary. The windshield was tinted perfectly and in the bottom left corner, there were two little cutouts for the registration and inspection stickers. If you have them tint over the stickers, your going to have to cut the tint to replace them and you run the risk of peeling more tint off then you would want.
Cutting around the stickers is the easy part, do you know a friend or someone who can inspect you? I had a buddy of mine do mine and he almost refused to do it all the windows were so dark. You also need to realize that when you tint your windshield (I don't know what % your going with or what your side windows are) but it is going to be much harder to see out and around you at night so your going to have to be cautious.

you can help avoid getting in trouble by using clear UV protective solar guard clear film.
its not dark but still gives you some UV protection.

how about tinting just the top area of the windshield? I was actually thinking about doing this, during the summer , for some reason in the IS the sun seems to be a nightmare, I had an ES before and i didn't have the same issue, not to mention although the AC will be turned on full blast, the sun will still make you hot because there is no filter on the windshield at all. maybe im just a unique case, but I'm actually considering going to the es350 because of this, during the summer months the IS gets too hot, even with the AC on full blast, and all my other windows are tinted so go figure.
