Since most all meets are being planned for the NYC area, Ill probably be able to attend 1 or 2 at best. I just read a post regarding a CT meet which is much more closer than NYC for members in the Boston area, but CT is feasible for NY members as well... I was thinking maybe a Foxwoods meet sometime over the summer??? Long ways away; just seeing if the idea sounds like a good plan.

 

I go to foxwoods every weekend to play poker but i am always down for a meet. Just let me know!

 

The monthly NYC NELOC meet is not a entire official "calling a cars.." NELOC meet as the ones we have had in the past like harrisburg/atlantic city/team lexus facility/ etc. We use to have spur of the moment meets and bbq's just to hang out here. We had them like every week since there are alot of members in the 5 boros so we're trying to get it a little more organized this year. The monthly meet just seemed better for NYC members. Don't get me wrong any and all NELOC members are free to attend.

If you feel you want to set up a meet in CT with your fellow CT NELOC members feel free there isn't a restriction to do so. There will be additional meets (ie. HIN @ Philly, Possible Harrisburg PT. 2, etc.) that have nothing to do with the monthly meet. Just stay tuned for those.

 

Foxwoods.... Poker.... I'm down!!!

 

I'm actually going there this weekend.. I love Foxwoods..They got rid of the smoke free casino though..darn. 2.5 hour drive from Queens and the parking is free.. This is a great venue for a meet. No cops when i 95 turns into a 2 lane road....You can go flat out

All right lets paln one out for foxwoods. The three things i would like to accomplish during this meet are: Use Foxwoods' big parking lot. Race vehicles on open stretch of road, and Play poker! I am not a good orginizer so someone else can start the new thread with sign-up and pick the date. I'm down all day it could even be a 2-day event!

 

I would suggest that you do not to create a thread until about a month before the date you set the meet for. If you do it before that its just going to wind up not getting as much attention and it will get lost in the forum unless someone post in it. just my .02¢.
