You know there are a lot of people in the northeast. We should try to schedule a meet in Ct this spring. I know there is a meet coming up but they are all so far away. If anyone has intrest or would like to start a regional club in Connecticut just let me know.

 

Most of the meets we've had in the recent past took place within the boroughs of NYC, upstate NY, and northern NJ. We did have one meet in CT a couple years ago, about 15 min north of Hartford to be exact (here's the link).

I'd love to have another meet in CT, but it seems that either we never get enough members from this state interested in a meet, or not many are in favor of driving to CT. I usually end up driving 2-3 hrs average to NY/NJ/MA for meets, and 4-5 hrs one time for a meet in Philadelphia, PA. Some people don't like the idea of putting extra miles on their cars, but isn't that the reason why we are here in this car forum, to enjoy driving a Lexus?

Anyhow... I'm down for a meet in CT, perhaps somewhere in the middle ground like around the Hartford or New Haven vicinity. Let's wait for others to be aroused

 

Guys once the weather gets nice I am done for a meet in Ct. Maybe the middle to end of April?

 

Thats great at least there is some intrest. I would be willing to go to maryland but that is about when my girlfriend is due to have our baby(aug 31), so I'm thinking that being so far away and possibly having a baby in the car may not be the greatest idea.

I am all for meeting somewhere between new haven and hartford. and I'm sure that we should be able to get something going. Any other CT members intrested???? Even if its just a handful of us...could this be the beginning of the connecticut chapter?

 

A CT meet would be great. I am moving to Meriden in about a month, so count me in.

 

Births in cars make great bar stories. And besides, not many children can brag about being born in a car let alone a lexus.

I live right next to meriden. I'm through there at least once a day. I met a guy today in hamden with a nice gs, went to give him the cl card and he said he was already a member! There are enough of us to get something going. I'm currently trying to get a custom car shop together would be nice if it was lexus only....

Great to see the interest brewing for a CT meet; it's about time we have one just for Lexus here in this state

For those who know me, I'll certainly help out with the organizing of the meet. Maybe we can make this a warm-up meet for the later and bigger EuroPacific meet happening in late May. On that note, let's plan for a CT meet date sometime in late April. How does that sound?
