Hi CL members,
Hope that you can give me some insight on my problem. Last night I noticed that there was some water on my passenger floor mat. I had been a relatively dry yet muggy day and had started drizzling prior to my noticing the water. My car had been parked for about 6 hrs then driven about 5 miles. I felt up behind the glove box and that's were the water was coming from. Haven't contacted the dealer yet but wanted to know if anyone has experienced this. Any idea what's happening? Heater core died or what?
Thanks
The first check your evaporator drain hose and make sure it not clogged up. If the drain hose is clean and clear, you may need to take it to dealer because most likely your evaporator housing may be split.
Thanks for the info. My car is a 2000 GS3. I had been running the AC and had left it in the on position as the car was parked. The leak was fresh water not antifreeze, so I'm hoping that it's simply a clogged AC drain tube.
Thanks
