This used to be true with the old OBD I system through a series of pushing pedals and looking at lights on the dash.
Our RX300s of course use OBDII, so you will need a scanner.
I would think that this is probably a P1701 error related to air/fuel if you sense nothing else. Could be a gas cap on loose or went through a pocket of bad air (in Mexico City...happens to me a lot). Pull negative battery cable for a few seconds.

Yes, he can pull the EFI fuse, a yellow 20 AMP fuse. Easily located by using the diagram on the bottom of the cover of your fuse box.
Pull it out with the keys out of the iginition.
Had to do this last night at the track.

I should have said p0171 lean error.
If you pull the EFI fuse, it should be immediate as you take it out and put it right back in.
The only way being in a different place, PA vs CA would affect this is in altitude or in climate. However, generally reseting the system once would do the trick.
Koolaidman is right that with carbs this is a much bigger problem and fuel injection systems should adapt, but not always.
I put on a heat shield just two weeks ago and when I fire up the accelerator in the 1/4 mile...p0171 sometimes comes on with a lot of torque and power.
I am actually quite delighted by this...especially at 7,400 feet.

No...don't invest in one. They have bigger puppies that cost even more...like $500 to $700.
When my light goes on, usually at the track, I just wait until I am done racing that night...pull the fuse...and go home.
Lot's of guys with CAI (Cold Air Induction) systems get this error.
If it keeps coming on...then I go to a mechanic.
You may also have a dirty
However, only code that has ever popped up is again P0171. A very common error.
It is possible you might have a dirty MAF sensor...do a search on CL as some people have posted pictures...easy to remove and clean. Good to do...even if you don't have a problem.
