I honestly would just go to the dealer to be on the safe side... I'm sure there is an aftermarket one out there somewhere but I wouldnt trust it as much. good luck!
I feel your pain. I did that once too!!! I had to tow my car to the mechanic and get it fixed. I don't know about using flexible fuel lines. I'm assuming it's a pressurized system so there's a reason why they designed it that way.
Just cut the line and replace with rubber fuel hose. Be sure to flare the ends before clamping the hose on. I cut out my fuel filter because the nuts were frozen and couldn't be removed. I replaced it with a hose barb type filter and the rubber hose. Works like a charm and it cost me like $10.

I am not sure if anyone is still reading this...
but i am facing the same problem except that my fuel filter is rusted...
i took it to a local mechanic, he told me the fuel line has to be replace. I told him if it can be patched or any other alternative, but he told me that the fuel line is a high pressure line so it either has to order parts from Lexus or custome made. So.. that's just gonna cost me lots of $$...
so does it really work just to replace the fuel filter and replace the line with rubber hose??
its a 93 SC 400
I guess you don't think much of jeremyp111's opinion if you are soliciting the same advice he has already offered (and that you quoted).
In any case, what do you have to lose by trying what he says? Invest the same $10 he did, try it out and if for some strange reason it doesn't work (when it did for him, like a charm), you are just back to where you are now. There already is rubber hose in the fuel line- you just can't see it from the fuel filter, but it's up there just past the fuel tank.
The fuel filter area is more exposed to the elements- to make the rubber hose last as long as possible, I'd give it a extra layer of protection, like some old garden hose, split lengthwise.
