brake drag?

Exclamation brake drag?

i put new pads on my sc 300 today. after i got done i was driving around when i stoped i could smell a burning smell it was coming from the passengerside front keep in mind i had only drove it about 4 miles. it didnt do this before at least i dont think mabey thats why the pads were junk on it any info would help i have to drive it about 50 miles monday and i dont really want somthing bad to happen

Then test it out by coasting in neutral and seeing how it comes to a stop. The normal rolling friction of the tires, bearings, etc. should bring it to a stop, not brake pad drag.

it's normal for the brakes to smell funny after you installed them, and during the break-in.

If you continue to experience this, you may have to check out your caliper. Sticky calipers seem to be pretty common in older SC's.
