Default Just picked up my first LX

Upgraded from a 2011 4Runner to a 2013 LX 570, 70k miles. Big fan already.

Anyone gotten their driver seat to stop pushing back when you turn the car off? I tried the "hold down an assigned preset number and the unlock button on your pad with the car turned off" but it doesn't seem to stick to it after a power cycle.

Other than that, its awesome and I can't wait to use it more.

There should be a button on the lower left, below the steering wheel, with a graphic of a person leaning out a window. This turns the "easy access" on and off. When it is on, you should see that same graphic light up on the gauge cluster.

Turn off the "power easy access system."

The more I read and fiddle, I must be doing something wrong. The Power Easy Access System seems to be a combination of the telescoping steering wheel retracting, the driver's seat moving aft, and the suspension possibly lowering 1-2". I had never had the "Guy leaning out the window" graphic on my HUD display until I hit the button, but both with the graphic on and off the HUD, the driver's seat still attempts to retract (and squeeze the baby seat behind me) until I manually stop it with the seat controls every time. I thought maybe turning off Height Control would disable it until I found this on page 70 of the manual:

"Customization
The distance that the driver’s seat moves backward during the auto away function

can be changed. (Customizable features P. 904)"
Page 904 simply says go to the dealer to get it done, but maybe there's a way I can adjust this myself.

Thanks again and sorry for being a newbie.

ETA: FOUND IT.

Inside the Vehicle customization settings, under "Other Vehicle Customization Settlings" is the "Driver's Seat Easy Exit" that can be assigned to Full, Partial, or OFF.

I simply assigned it to OFF.

Thanks again, everyone.

On my 2015 LX, you use the Nav screen. Push Setup button, then select Vehicle, Vehicle Customization, Other Vehicle settings, Drivers Seat Easy Exit...turn off.

The steering wheel still retracts when engine turns off, but seat remains in place.

I’m going to use all these automatic features until my warranty is close to being up and then I don’t want do exercise electric motors and have them stop working in the middle so at that time I’ll modify it but up until then why not enjoy and if it’s covered under warranty
